    {Giveaway!} Twilight

Congrats Tessa! Send us an e-mail….you win the book! Ha!

Before you read one line further…I have to say that this post is quite possibly my most indulgent post to date. If you don’t like Twilight, just stop reading, right now and come back tomorrow for more photo goodness! Like on the outside of a little boy’s clubhouse the sign posted here says, “No Twilight Haters allowed.”

For those of you who know me personally….you know that I LOVE the Twilight Saga. Stephenie Meyer has caused a re-ignition for people to start reading again, as well as all things vampires, werewolves and all things supernatural. I’ve compared her to Jane Austen…but obviously…that isn’t a very popular comparison. I could go on and on about it….but I’m sure those of you who aren’t fans….will quickly stop reading here, and that’s okay. *wink*

So, in honor of the NEW Breaking Dawn {part 1} movie coming out…we are going to give away a copy of the Breaking Dawn book! I’m guessing that if you are still reading, that you’ve read the books. So check out this AMAZING trailer for it below. If you have not read the books but have watched the movies, let me give you a spoiler alert, this trailer gives a LOT away. Also, it’s kind of graphic…so little kids shouldn’t be around while watching it.

How can you win a hardbound copy of Breaking Dawn? In the comments below…tell us who your favorite character is and your favorite part of the whole saga. I can’t wait to unleash my inner teenager for this one! Will announce the winner by MIDNIGHT {EST} tonight! It will be added to the TOP of this post! So you only have TODAY to enter! Don’t be too proud to share….my husband read all four books, watched all of the released films on the day they were released for me {they came out on his birthdays!}, AND loves all of the music that came out with him….and he remains the MANLIEST man I know!

Okay, so if I’ve asked you to give this information….I better give my favorites: Carlisle…he’s so steady. In the books his character was developed a lot more. The part of the books…hmmm….I have a lot of parts I like, but the one I relate to most is when Bella’s heart was broken and how Stephenie creates the passing of time.

WAIT…one more indulgence! Have you seen this beautifully shot music video of Christina Perri singing the anthem from the newest installment, “A Thousand Years”? Watch it. Here. Now.

Tessa Oh my goodness! How do I put into word my love for Twilight?!? I literally get giddy like a little child when I see the trailers it's ridiculous!! I am not a reader at all and I read this books with no problem, I would find myself reading for hours and hours and not even realize how long I had been reading! Ok I can't just pick one character but I will give you a few of my faves: Esme is def at the top of the list, she has such a sweet motherly spirit and I just love that!! Edward is my other fave!! I'm def team Edward there is just something about the connection between Edward and Bella that is amazing it's like they cannot live without one another, what can o say I'm a hopeless romantic! I love Jacob too!! Candice thanks for doing this I'm so glad I have a fellow fan I can share my obsession with :)
Daniel I might as well share.....I'd have to say Edward...but because he is constant and truly wants the best for Bella, even if that means he spends eternity without her. Favorite part...probably when Edward says 'hold on tight spider monkey'!
Tracey I swore I wouldn't like Twilight- I thought I was above all of the "Team Edward" "Team Jacob" nonsense. Yeah, I was hooked as soon as I picked it up. She needs to write another one because I must know what happens with Renesmee! I'm reading The Hunger Games right now and have that same giddy feeling all over again! :)

{Personal!} Halloween, Farm Animals and us.

It’s important that we make sure we take days off during the week. Why? Because we work almost every weekend of the year…and if we don’t intentionally take days off….we end up working ALL of the time, and how fair would that be to not only us…but our sweet baby girl? On one of our days off, we took a trip to one of the local farms that offers Hayrides, Pumpkin Patches, Ponyrides, Corn Mazes, Farm animals and more for Stevie. I’ve always wanted to visit one…and now that we have our juicy fruit, there are memories to be made.

Okay, you want the honest truth? I debated only putting up the super awesome shots of Stevie in her costume, but that’s not real life. There is a lot of stuff in between…and I don’t want to forget it and I want to share it. So here’s our trip to the farm….with a couple of pictures of Stevie in her humorously over-sized Halloween Costume.

    So…the first one isn’t actually of us…HA!

Stevie LOVED the animals…..this is the response we got when we moved on.

    Stevie is fearless.

….so we put the costume on….

It was a perfect day. The breeze did amazing things.

Her hands INSTANTLY went to the hat to take it off. We shot about 300 pictures for just a handful with it on. Love it.

Daniel looks GOOOOOOOOOOD in a cowboy hat. That. Is. All.

Stevie was DONE with the costume…so off we went through the corn maze.

We are making it a rule that we have to get a family picture when we go do stuff together. So, Daniel propped up the camera on the stroller…and wah-lah!

Hope you guys have a rockin’ Friday! Thanks for checking out our family! If you have made some memories this month with your family, post a link in the comment section, we’d love to get to know you a little better too!

Kelly What a sweet family outing! Loving the picture of Stevie in her halloween costume with the cowgirl hat! I really enjoy following your blog thanks for sharing!
Cheyenne Schultz A - I adore Stevie's outfit - that top, jeans and shoes are THE cutest. B - Her costume is priceless - especially that shot of windblown Stevie. I love it. C - Boone needs to be encouraged by the fearless Stevie when it comes to the animals - he was PETRIFIED of the goats. :) xoxo.
Deb Happy Birthday! Cannot believe that she is 1 year old already. Truly have enjoyed watching her grow cutier & cutier through your blog. Keep them coming. My precious family moment this month...hearing my son's voice for the first time in 6 months all the way from Afhganistan. Happy Fall Moments! Love you guys...
