It’s not every day you get to be a part of history, but when you get the chance….I’d guess you’d do what we did and JUMP on it! We were so blown away at the magnitude of the Charlotte DNC 2012. Charlotte was transformed into a buzzing metropolis of national newscasts, food and culture. Whether you are a registered Republican, Democrat or Independent voter… you have to admit, it was pretty cool for Charlotte to get to host such an event.

We were so excited when Event & Wedding Planner, Anne Markey {Favor Me Events} asked us to document one of the delegate parties that would be welcoming delegates from 5 states. We were even MORE excited when BizBash.com featured it during the DNC 2012 on their website!

While we are not allowed to share the images from during the event {due to signed privacy agreements}, we are excited to just share a few things to give you a feeling of the party itself!


The Mint Museum was showcasing some incredible pieces…and they had all of the guests vote for their favorites.


We were a fan of all of the activities and things that were a part of this event! One of the most popular spots of the evening…was ShutterBooth Charlotte! They were a BLAST!

I love the details of the event…including the decals in the elevators!





The beautiful Dogwood Tree arrangement was provided by the ever-talented Karen at Lily Greenthumbs.


The incredible food and drinks were provided by the talented staff at La-Tea-Da’s Catering.



All of the live entertainment was provided by very talented groups from Charlotte. One of those groups were the Cheer Extreme Cheerleaders! Here are a couple of them during practice.


Another great performer for the evening included the West Charlotte Marching Band. They were fantastic!
