We were so excited to meet the Mead’s family! Crazy enough, Greta’s hometown is where I went to undergrad. Small world. When she called for a session that focused on documenting her 6-month old son and a few family shots …we couldn’t be happier. We love the 6-month age for kids and it’s one of my favorite ages to shoot! Take a second to get to know the Mead’s family.

It’s not everyday that we get to photograph a newborn and family that just wants to be captured as they are. Simple and beautiful. Heather and Matt gave us complete freedom to capture their 10-day old, newborn daughter, Claire. She was so new that she had her umbilical cord still attached. Check out this sweet pea.

Heather and Matt are already amazing parents. They are so laid back…and that trait was definitely passed downed to sweet baby Claire.

It’s was a BEAUTIFUL weekend! So many trees were in bloom and it’s already reaching the 80s. It’s one of my favorite times to shoot newborn family sessions. Here are a few of Claire and her family enjoying the great outdoors.
