To those of you who’ve kept up with our blog posts, tweets and facebook statuses you know. You know that life is about to get super interesting. We are moving in 13 days! We close on our current house and our NEW house on the same day within 3 hours of each other. We’ve had a lot of questions about if we are staying in Charlotte. The answer is YES! I’m excited to stay, because this is where our business is really flourishing…but I’m a little sad that we won’t be close to my parents and family, for Stevie.

In the past few weeks we’ve sold a LOT of our furniture on Craigslist. We’ve sold a couch, a bedroom set and still have a chaise lounge and more to sell {interested, we’ll send pictures}. Daniel has already taken a ton of stuff off of the walls and filled in all of the holes. We’ve been going through a lot of our stuff to purge what we actually need to take with us, and what we need to sell/give away. It’s a good thing. But I look around at this home that I bought over 6 years ago, that I spent my first five years of marriage in, the home we brought our sweet girl home to and I get a little sad. It’s normal to feel that way I’m sure. But I just can’t help but feel a little nostalgic about it all. My whole life changed in this house and my heart expanded by 3 times.

After all of the packing we’ve already started doing, we just needed to get out of the house and enjoy the spring. Here are a few of Stevie {16 months} at the park.

Here’s to MANY new memories in our new home!

Oh man! What a couple of months it’s been for the us! We’ve been silent on the blog because we’ve been working on our house. After almost THREE years of our house being on the market we now have a buyer and it is under contract! Woo HOO! We’ve had our house inspected, appraised, and different people coming to look at this and that for last couple of weeks and we are praying that all goes through and hope to close on April 6. Needless to say we are THRILLED, God orchestrated all of this to work out in a wonderful way just before our wedding season jumped into full gear. We’ve even found a place to live…and we’ll share all about that later. I just wanted to give you a heads up as to why we’ve been a little quiet on here. But I assure you goodness is to come.
